I grew up in the town, went to school and worked there also.
I have been luck to have traveled the country for a few years working with young adults in the music industry. Ive seen a few places that remind me of the town of New Brockton and the feeling i get when i see places like New Brockton AL, i get a little homesick.
Its nice to see the amount of pride the people of New Brockton have for each other. This is a place where everyone knows one another and welcome new people open hearted.
Its almost like the saying "it takes a village to raise a child" i think that saying is embraced within the town, because its true. Our schools are growing everyday with new students.
Im proud to say that the education i recieved from New Brockton High truely helped me become the person i am today. If it wasnt from the dedicated teachersand staff i would have never become the youngest Member of the Board for a non profit organization based in Lexington, KY. And soon designer/owned of my own company.
I look at the many changing faces of the town and i know that the town will forever live strong.
So come and Visit and if you like us stay a while longer.
